Wardyń

Wardyń ( German  Wardin ) is a village in the Gmina Choszczno administrative district of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Geographical location

The village lies in the Neumark , about seven kilometers east of the city Choszczno ( Arnswalde ) and 68 kilometers south-east of the regional capital Szczecin ( Szczecin ).

history

Wardin used to be a manor. Around 1450 the estate was owned by the Beneckendorff family, who were long -established in Brandenburg .

The region came under Polish administration after the end of World War II .
