The Warszawa Dome ( Polish Kopuła Warszawy , Warsaw Dome ) is a 450 m high ice dome in the southwest of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is bounded by the Ezcurra Fjord , Admiralty Bay , Bransfield Strait and Maxwell Bay .
A participant in a Polish Antarctic expedition named him in 1980 after the Polish capital Warsaw . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 2003.
