Wasā'il al-Shīʿa

Wasā'il asch-Shīʿa ( Arabic وسائل الشيعة, DMG Wasa'il aš-Šī'a ) is a comprehensive Hadith - collection of Shiite theologian Sheikh al-Hurr al-Amili (1624-1693) and his masterpiece. According to the Four Books ( kutub arba'a ) it is considered one of the Shiite's most important sources of traditions. To a large extent it is a kind of annotated summary of the Four Books . The full title is "Tafṣīl wasāʾil asch-shīʿa ilā taḥṣīl aḥkām asch-schīʿa".

“This work contains traditions that have to do with religious law. It was drawn up for secondary duties under religious law. Sheikh al Hurr Amili has divided the narrations into smaller sections and cited each one at the appropriate place. "

It took the author a total of 18 years to complete the work. It was translated into Urdu by Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Hussain Najafi .
