Wasa is a Swedish research station in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica . It is located on the 365  m high base in the Kraulberge about 120 km from the coast and is only operated in the southern summer. The Finnish station Aboa is in the immediate vicinity . The entire complex is called Nordenskiöldbasen .

The station is designed for 12 researchers and is managed by the Polarforskningssekretariatet. In addition to the 133 m² main building, there are work and observation modules. The power supply is provided with the help of wind power and solar energy systems . Crawler caterpillars, living containers, snowmobiles and sledges are available for expeditions into the surrounding area .

The Wasa station was inaugurated during the Swedish Antarctic expedition SWEDARP 1988/89 on January 17, 1989. With this measure, Sweden wanted to underpin its status as a consultative state within the Antarctic Treaty , which the country joined in 1984.

Sweden continues to operate the Antarctic station Svea in the Heimefrontfjella mountain range .
