Wasa (people)

The Wasa (also: Ouassa ) are a people in Ghana .

The language of the eponymous Wasa Wasa from the group of Kwa languages . The Wasa live between the 9th and 10th parallel north and west of the second longitude west longitude in southwest Ghana. Neighbors of the Wasa are the Akan , Sefwi , Nzema and Agni .

The Wasa are namesake for the Wasa Amenfi East District and Wasa Amenfi West District in the Western Region .
