The Wasserburg Wocking is an Outbound Wasserburg southeast edge of the village Wocking in Wohlfahrtsbrunn in the municipality Bergland in the district of Melk in Lower Austria . The remains of the castle are under monument protection ( list entry ).

The Wocking seat is documented from 1165 onwards. The facility was inhabited until 1832.

description

The polygonal core is surrounded by a moat . Lining walls can still be seen on the inside of the trench spanned by a bridge with a dam and a weir .
