The waterfall near Äpfelbach is a small waterfall in Äpfelbach , a district of the Upper Franconian market town of Egloffstein in the Forchheim district in Bavaria .

The waterfall is located in the Franconian Switzerland-Veldenstein Forest Nature Park and is about 2.4 km north of Egloffstein.
description
The waterfall is about ten meters long, about three meters wide and about three meters high. The Quaternary tufa formation has created a cascade-like waterfall there. It is fed by the Äpfelbach , which flows into the Trubach after 300 meters .
It is designated as a geotope (474R039) and a natural monument . The access is on private property and may only be entered with the permission of the owner.
