Schwarzwasserbach waterfall
The Schwarzwasserbach waterfall natural monument is located on the Naturbrücke plot in the Mittelberg municipality in the Bregenz district , Vorarlberg , Austria .
The waterfall is of natural origin and is about 12 meters high. The natural monument was formed by the millennia-long erosion effects of the Schwarzwasserbach and Auerbach (also: Aubach). There are several more waterfalls along the Schwarzwasserbach. This natural monument receives its particularly impressive effect from the tributary of the Au (er )bach a few meters earlier. The Au (er) bach itself rises only 250 meters above it from a strong spring that is available all year round and is fed by the Gottesacker plateau ( karst spring ).
Above, at the confluence of the Auerbach (also: Aubach ) in the Schwarzwasserbach, there is a road bridge (Kesselschwand). The natural bridge plot and the natural monument are located directly on the Kesselschwand road at about 1065 m above sea level. A. (upper edge of the waterfall) at around water kilometers (Schwarzwasserbach) 2.07 (upper edge of the waterfall). The center of Riezlern is about 1200 meters as the crow flies , the L201 ( Kleinwalsertalstraße ) about 750 meters.
A few meters above the confluence of the Auerbach (Aubach) in the Schwarzwasserbach is the natural monument natural bridge on the Schwarzwasserbach and about 40 meters above the natural bridge the natural monument Strudeltöpf Schwarzwasserbach .
