The Réservoir Manic 2 is a reservoir in the Canadian province of Québec .
It is located in the Côte-Nord region , around 25 kilometers northwest of Baie-Comeau . Its area is 114 km² when fully jammed.
The Barrage Manic-2 dam dams the Rivière Manicouagan and its tributary Rivière Toulnustouc at ( ⊙ ) . The associated hydroelectric plant Jean-Lesage has a power of 1145 MW , the drop height is 70.11 meters. It has been named after Jean Lesage , a former Prime Minister of Québec, since 2010 . The former name of the power plant was Manic-2.
