The hydropower plant Mittelstadt is located in the Reutlingen district center city in the district of Reutlingen in Baden-Württemberg . It is a run-of-river power plant . The water required to operate the power plant is dammed by a weir directly in front of the turbine house .

History and technology

The power station went into operation in 1908. The system has a drop height of 3.0 m and the output is 500 kW. The plant is owned by Schoder Grundstücks GbR .
