The hydropower plant Nygard ( Norwegian Nygard kraftverk is) a hydroelectric power plant in Eksingedalen in the municipality Modalen in the province Vestland in Norway .

The concession for the construction was granted on July 17, 1992. The power plant was blasted into the rock by 2005 and is operated by Bergenshalvøens Kommunale Kraftselskap (BKK).

A Francis turbine with a turbine output of 56  MW is installed in the pumped storage power plant , which went into operation in 2005 . The average annual production is 91 GWh .
