Wassil Kirkow

Wassil Kirow Kirkow , actually Wassil Kirkow Dimitrov , (born May 15, 1870 in Karlovo , † November 28, 1931 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian actor.

He belonged to the ensemble of the Bulgarian National Theater in Sofia and is considered a pioneer of Bulgarian professional theater. In 1926, however, he was fired from the theater.

His major roles included Hamlet , Ferdinand in Intrigue and Love , Chlestakow in The Government Inspector and Ivanko in Drumew .
