Wassyl Palyha ( Ukrainian Василь Палига , English transcription Vasyl Palyha ; * 1989 ) is a Ukrainian biathlete .
Wassyl Palyha competed in his first major international races as part of the 2009 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . First he was used in the races of the juniors, in which he was 23rd in the sprint, as well as in the mass start race, which he finished in 14th place. For the mixed relay, Palyha was appointed to the performance class and achieved sixth place with Julija Kapusta , Natalija Nedaschkiwska and Vitaly Derdijtschuk .
