Watsonian-Squire is an English vehicle manufacturer from Moreton-in-Marsh , which specializes in motorcycle combinations and motorcycle trailers. Watsonian is the world's oldest surviving sidecar manufacturer.

The company was founded in Birmingham in 1912 by Thomas Frederick Watson , who then invented the folding sidecar. The company was named "The Watsonian Folding Sidecar Co". In 1946 the sidecar Meteor appeared and is still being built today. Eric Oliver became the first team world champion on Norton in 1949 with a Watsonian sidecar. In the 1950s, Watsonian was the largest sidecar manufacturer in the world; according to the company, there were over 80,000 Watsonian sidecars on English roads in 1955. In 1954, Watsonian presented the large Monaco sidecar , some of which was made with fiberglass-reinforced plastic . Watsonian sidecars are easy to recognize by the frame with surrounding tubes. In 1989 Watsonian merged with the other English sidecar manufacturer Squire, which had existed since 1972, to form "Watsionan-Squire Ltd." The model range is now divided into sidecars of the brand Watsonian and Squire.
