Waders

Waders are usually made of rubber , PVC or neoprene material and are used by anglers ( fly fishing ), professional fishermen , pond work and the like. They are available, depending on where they are used, with either a profiled or felt sole. Waders are worn like rubber boots , i.e. over the other leg clothing - such as trouser legs - and reach down to the thighs. This allows you to go into the water up to thigh height without getting your feet wet. Waders were first manufactured by the American company Hodgman, founded in 1838, during the gold rush in California (1848 to 1854) for the work of gold diggers. From this later the waders for the leisure sector developed.

The waders are similar to waders , but reach up to the chest .
