Wayne Frost
Wayne "Frosty Freeze" Frost (born December 8, 1963 in Manhattan , New York City , † April 3, 2008 ibid) was an American actor and old school breakdancer and as such a member of the Rock Steady Crew .
Life
Frost appeared as an actor and dancer alone or together with the Rocksteady Crew in various films , including Flashdance . He often worked in hip-hop - music videos with, besides its own as Rock Steady Crew , he was in the video Planet Rock by Afrika Bambaataa and the Soul Sonic Force to see, perhaps the most influential titles of the early hip hop. He also appeared in Malcolm McLaren's Buffalo Gals .
In 2004 he and other members of the Rocksteady Crew were awarded the Hip Hop Honors Award, which was presented for the first time by the VH-1 broadcaster . He has since continued to perform regularly at various hip-hop events in the New York area. As a break dancer he was respected for his highly acrobatic and dangerous moves, his best known he called "The Suicide". This is a backflip where he landed on his back.
At the beginning of 2008 he fell seriously ill, and since March 27th he was connected to artificial life support equipment .
