We've Got Tonight is a 1983 music album by American country singer Kenny Rogers . It is the last album that he recorded for Liberty Records . The album reached number three on the country chart and number 18 on the Billboard 200 . The title track is a duet with Sheena Easton and was composed by Bob Seger .

All songs were recorded on different days in a Hollywood studio. The recording began on May 1, 1982 with the recording of Love Will Turn You Around . By December 30, 1982 the remaining nine songs had also been recorded; the last was All My Life , which, like the theme song We've Got Tonight, was a duet with Sheena Easton.
