The cross was built in 1857. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach under No. K 071 on September 15, 1993 .

The wayside cross is in front of the homestead Klusenstraße 110 in Hockstein.
architecture
It is a shaft cross with a corpus and an articulated substructure with an almost square cross-section, leading over a multi-articulated console into the middle section with a storage area for a monstrance . In the lower half there is a round arch niche ( conche ), which shows a shell ornament in the dome . Above it is an upholstered cuboid framed by edge strips or a field with an inscription as the basis for the cross.
The inscription reads:
