Signpost (Fraßdorf)

Signpost between Quellendorf and Fraßdorf

The signpost near Fraßdorf is a small monument in the town of Southern Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in Saxony-Anhalt .

On the district road 2077 between Quellendorf and Fraßdorf there is a milestone and a signpost as evidence of the road construction of Anhalt. The stone, which is 1.52 meters high and 34 centimeters wide at the top and 40 centimeters wide at the base, shows the way to Quellendorf (right) and Frassdorf (left) with arrows on the east side and the way to Zehmigkau (right) and Hinsdorf on the north side (Left).

Quellendorf was called Qualendorf until 1838 , so the signpost must have been created after that, if it was not later reworked. The milestones of the area were set shortly after 1850, perhaps the listed stone also belongs to this time. It is listed in the monument register under Fraßdorf, in whose corridor it is located, and has the registration number 094 70221.
