The Wehringhauser Bach is a flowing body of water in the southern urban area of Hagen . One of the attractions in the Bachtal is a game reserve with wild boars . The stream is about 2.86 km long, of which the last 1.2 km are piped. It flows into the Ennepe .
Run
The stream runs in a valley between Egge (285 m) in the west and Riegerberg (335 m) and Goldberg (266 m) in the east. It rises at almost 300 above sea level, about 300 m east of the residential area Im Deerth and initially follows a north-easterly direction until, when reaching the first foothills of the Hagen district of Wehringhausen, it joins a northerly and, in this area, a long curve in a long arc north-northwest direction of flow. Bachstrasse bears witness to its subterranean course up to the crossing under the tracks northeast of the Hagen-Wehringhausen stop.
