Belarusian badminton championship
Belorussian badminton championships started after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992. Junior and team championships began in the same year. There are not yet any international title fights in Belarus .
The championships arose from the USSR championship in badminton . After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Azerbaijan , Armenia , Belarus , Estonia , Georgia , Latvia , Lithuania , Moldova , Russia and Ukraine started their own championships within the European Badminton Federation (EBU), while Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan found a new home in the Asian Badminton Federation found.
