Ukrainian badminton championship
Ukrainian championships in badminton started after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992. The hosting of junior championships began in the same year as did the team championships . The Kharkov International will be held as the Ukraine's international title fights .
The championships arose from the USSR championship in badminton . After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Azerbaijan , Armenia , Belarus , Estonia , Georgia , Latvia , Lithuania , Moldova , Russia and Ukraine started their own championships within the European Badminton Federation (EBU), while Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan found a new home in the Asian Badminton Federation found.
