Laryssa Valerijivna Hryha ( Ukrainian Лариса Валеріївна Грига ; born  May 31, 1984 in Dnipropetrovsk ), internationally known as Larisa Griga , is a Ukrainian badminton player .

Laryssa Hryha has won multiple badminton championships in Ukraine . There she plays both women doubles and singles. Internationally, Griga is more active in women's singles. In 2003, Hryha won the European Junior Badminton Championships in women's singles .

At the Badminton World Championships in Anaheim in 2005 , she reached the 2nd round, but was eliminated there against the Chinese Xie Xingfang , who was seeded there on 2. Since June 2006 Hryha has been training - as part of the BWF program "Road to Beijing" - at the BWF training location in Saarbrücken . In 2007 she reached the final of the European Badminton Cup with her team from the Dutch club BC Amersfoort - for which she has been playing since 2005 . She also won 3 international series tournaments that year. In 2008 she moved to the Fyrisfjäder association in Uppsala , Sweden .

In 2008 she won the women's singles at the Dutch International at the end of April. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , Hryha took part in the individual badminton tournament . In the first round she won against Agnese Allegrini from Italy with 2-0 sets. In the round of 32 she lost with the same set result against the Indian player Saina Nehwal .

In 2010 she won the women's singles at the Kharkov International 2010 in the final against Mariya Ulitina .
