Jérémie Bréchet (born August 14, 1979 in Lyon ) is a French football player .
Career
societies
Jérémie Bréchet comes from the offspring of the French top club Olympique Lyon . In 1998 he was brought to the professional team there. He played his first game for the first team on September 11, 1998. In the following years he matured to become a regular and national player. After five years, he left his club in the summer of 2003 and went to Italy for Inter Milan . There, however, he was not permanently happy and was rarely used, so he moved again after a year and went to Real Sociedad San Sebastián . After two years with again few appearances, he decided in the summer of 2006 to return to France and joined FC Sochaux , with whom he won the cup in 2007 as captain . Bréchet stayed with FC Sochaux for two years before playing for PSV Eindhoven from 2008 to 2009 . There were three more seasons in Sochaux and one at ES Troyes . In the summer of 2013 he left the first division relegated and signed with Girondins Bordeaux for a year .
After only four league appearances for the professional team from Girondins Bordeaux, as well as two championship games for their amateur team, Bréchet moved to the French second division to Gazélec FC Ajaccio . There he promptly became a regular in the defensive line and in his first season with the team he made it to the top French football league as runner-up in the final standings. By the end of the season he had made 28 out of 38 league appearances and contributed two goals. 2015/16 followed 23 appearances in Ligue 1, whereby the team missed the league in the final standings and relegated back to the second division. In this he was re-employed as a regular player under the new coach Jean-Luc Vannuchi - Thierry Laurey had left the club at the end of the 2015/16 season - and made 30 league appearances as such. In the final standings of Ligue 2 2016/17 , Gazélec FC Ajaccio took ninth place in the middle of the table. In the following season 2017/18 Bréchet was sometimes (as of January 8, 2018) in 13 championship games and scored twice.
National team
Bréchet came to a total of three missions in the French national team in 2001 and 2002 . He made his debut on June 1, 2001 under coach Roger Lemerre during the Confederations Cup against Australia , in the 0-1 defeat he was in the starting lineup. In August and November 2002 he was considered again by Jacques Santini in two friendly matches against Tunisia and Serbia-Montenegro.
