Jérôme Mombris (born November 27, 1987 in Saint-Brieuc ) is a French football player .
Career
Mombris started his career with a local club in his hometown of Saint-Brieuc. From there he moved to Pontivy for a year before he was accepted into the reserve team at Stade Brest in 2005. However, he did not make the desired jump to the first team and decided in 2008 to move to the fourth division Stade Plabennec . At Plabennec he became a regular player and in 2009 he was promoted to the third division. In 2011 he signed with the fourth division US Avranches , where he was also one of the top performers. This helped him in 2012 to an offer from the second division Le Havre AC , who took him under contract. Although he played there mainly for the second team, he celebrated his professional debut on February 8, 2013 at 1: 2 at AS Monaco . After initially sporadic appearances, he made his breakthrough during the 2013/14 season and became a regular player.
