Dautel winery
The Dautel winery , formerly Ernst Dautel winery , is located on the eastern foothills of the Stromberg in the Baden-Württemberg city of Bönnigheim in the German wine-growing region Württemberg . It produces 75,000 bottles per year on 12 hectares of vineyards and is a member of the Association of German Predicate and Quality Wineries .
history
The winery was founded in 1978 by Ernst Dautel, who comes from a family with over 500 years of experience in viticulture. In 2000 the winery was included in the Association of German Predicate and Quality Wineries.
Vineyards and grape varieties
The vineyards are divided into the following grape varieties: 24% Riesling , 18 % Pinot Noir , 16% Lemberger , 12% Pinot Blanc , 8% Trollinger , 5% each of Cabernet and Chardonnay . Other varieties such as Zweigelt , Merlot and Gewürztraminer are grown on the remaining 13% .
