Qinghai Province Monuments

The Qinghai Province Monuments List ( Chinese  青海省 文物保護單位  /  青海省 文物保护单位 , Pinyin Qīnghǎi shěng wénwù bǎohù dānwèi  - "Monuments of Qinghai Province") is one of the Qinghai Province Cultural Objects Office ( 青海省 文物 局 , Qinghai sheng wenwu ju ) List of monuments of protected historical sites and cultural assets drawn up in the People's Republic of China . They are determined by the People's Government of Qinghai Province and announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China .

A first list was drawn up in 1956, a second in 1957. It has since been expanded several times over (see overview). The list includes significant sites for history, religion, art and science: buildings, tombs, ancient architecture, monasteries, stone inscriptions and others.

It currently includes 383 monuments.
