Ping'an

Ping'an ( Chinese  平安 区 , Pinyin Píng'ān Qū ) is a district of the district-free city of Haidong in the east of Qinghai Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​750 km² and has around 110,000 inhabitants (2004). Its main town is the Ping'an community .

In Ping'an lies the village of Taktser , the birthplace of the XIV Dalai Lama , Tendzin Gyatsho .
