Drugu Gompa , Drugu Monastery or Drugu Ganden Chökhor Ling ( Tib . : dga 'ldan chos' khor gling ) is a Gelugpa monastery in Amdo . It is located in Jiefangcun 解放 村 Village (Chinese) in Zhugu 朱 固 乡 Township in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County in Haibei , Qinghai Province . It was built in 1644, at the end of the Ming and beginning of the Qing period, by Tsenpo Döndrub Gyatsho ( btsan po don grub rgya mtsho ; 1613–1665) from Serkhog .

In 1723 it was destroyed during the uprising of the Mongol prince Lobsang Tendzin and rebuilt in 1732. After 1958 it suffered severe damage.

Qinghai Province Monument

The monastery has been on the list of monuments of Qinghai Province since 1998 .
