Huangyuan ( 湟源县 , Huángyuán Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Xining (Tibetan Ziling), the capital of the Chinese province of Qinghai . It has an area of 1,609 km² and has 140,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Chengguan (城关 镇).
Administrative structure
At the community level, Huangyuan is made up of two large communities and seven communities (one of which is a national community ). These are:
- Greater community Chengguan城关镇
- Greater Dahua Parish大 华 镇
- Dongxia Township 东 峡 乡
- Community Riyue of Tibetans日月藏族乡
- Heping Parish 和平 乡
- Community Bohang波航乡
- Community Shenzhong申中乡
- Bayan Parish 巴 燕 乡
- Sizhai Municipality 寺 寨乡
