The Hans Igler winery in Deutschkreutz is an Austrian winery in the Mittelburgenland wine-growing region .

history

The winery was founded by Hans Igler, who appeared in the 1980s as one of the pioneers of Austrian quality red wine. His daughter Waltraud Reisner-Igler and her husband Wolfgang Reisner have been running the business since his death in 1994. The memory of Hans Igler is honored in the name of the winery.

In 2009, the winery moved to the former the German Kreutz Castle coordinate Schaflerhof , the centuries of the royal family as a farm Esterházy had acted. The winery has gained a special reputation with the pure reserve Blaufränkisch Biiri , which reached the highest rating ("top wine") five times in a row at Vinaria from the 2008/09 guide to the 2012/13 guide and with which the Weingut Hans Igler won the Falstaff win in 2011.
