According to quality / classification
The list of Austrian wineries according to quality criteria is based on the classifications of the Falstaff and the Vinaria . These classifications accumulate long-term tastings of the wines of all major Austrian wineries. Those wineries are taken into account that are listed in one of the two specialist books in one of the two highest categories.
