Sattlerhof winery
The Sattlerhof winery in Gamlitz is an Austrian winery in the southern Styria wine-growing region .
The winery has been family-owned since 1887 and was converted to the production of quality- oriented dry white wine by Wilhelm Sattler senior, one of Styria's wine pioneers, in the early 1970s . The company is now managed by Willi Sattler. His brother Hannes runs the attached restaurant. The vineyard area is now 32 ha, 90% of which are planted with white grape varieties , mainly Welschriesling , Sauvignon Blanc , Gelber Muskateller and Morillon . The most famous wines are the Sauvignon Blancs and Morillons from the Kranachberg , Pfarrweingarten and Sernauberg sites . The winery is a member of the Styrian terroir and classic wineries .
