J. Heinrich Winery

The J. Heinrich winery in Deutschkreutz is an Austrian winery in the Mittelburgenland wine-growing region.

The winery was first mentioned in a document in 1767 in the Urbarium of Maria Theresa . The winery is managed by Silvia Heinrich, together with her father Johann. The vineyard area is 38 hectares (as of 2011), which are planted exclusively with red grape varieties, 80 percent of which are Blaufränkisch . Furthermore are Zweigelt , Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot , Pinot Noir and Syrah grown. The best-known wines are the Cuvées terro o. And elegy , as well as the Blaufränkisch Cupid and Old Vines ; the latter comes from the famous Goldberg location . The Blaufränkisch vines on Goldberg have been in production since 1947. The Blaufränkische is produced in five different stages of expansion. It is worked with near-natural cultivation, manual harvest and spontaneous fermentation. The winery has received numerous national and international awards.
