This list shows the flags and coats of arms of the Czech regions . Each of the 14 Czech regions ( kraj ) has its own flag and coat of arms . These are issued by the President of the House of Representatives on the proposal of the region .

Hlavní město Praha
The red shield shows a crenellated golden city wall with three golden towers and a black gate, in the raised portcullis of which there is an armored silver arm with a silver sword. Two Bohemian lions are shield holders . On the shield rest three gold-crowned toad head helmets, which are hung from red and gold helmet covers . The Bohemian lion grows from the middle crown, and from the other two there are twelve flags with golden pole tips. Under the pedestal is a red ribbon with the slogan in black capital letters : "PRAGA CAPUT REI REPUBLICAE". → meaning .
Středočeský kraj
In the red and silver gevierten escutcheon is in the first and fourth field of Bohemia Leo , in the second field of the Wenzel Adler blue and the third field two wave beams . → meaning .
Plzeňský kraj
In the red and green emblem, the first field is the Bohemian lion and the second field is a golden camel running to the left . In the third field there is a silver and a gold bar and the fourth a silver round church with a latticed roof, black window and golden broad-armed common cross on the tower. → meaning .
Karlovarský kraj
In the coat of arms, which is quartered in red and silver, the Bohemian lion is in the first field, and a golden fountain with two silver fountains in the second . In the red and blue emblem, the first field is the Bohemian lion. In the four-quarter coat of arms the Bohemian lion is in the red first field . In the second field, which is split in silver and blue, there is a rose with petals divided in red and gold above the split and a clump with mixed up colors . Zlínský kraj
In blue and gold gevierten coat of arms is in the first field Moravian eagle in silver-red Geschacht and in the second field, a blue book with golden patriarchal cross on the cover. In the third field, a blue bunch of grapes with green leaves hovers between two crossed blue axes , the blades of which point outwards and above which lies a blue knife blade pointing to the right.
