Turning crown
The Wendenkrone is an old Slavic and German crown .
The rulers of Mecklenburg , Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz used this medieval golden crown of the Wends not only in their coat of arms, but also on medals and awards. The turning crown is also shown on bricks and inside locks. The Friedrich-Franz-Kreuz and the house orders of the Wendish Crown are also decorated with reversible crowns .
