Wendy Brown (sprinter)
Wendy Brown (born Urquhart; * May 21, 1950 ) is a former New Zealand sprinter .
In 1973 she won silver over 100 m at the Pacific Conference Games .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974, she was fifth over 100 m , sixth over 200 m and fifth in the 4-by-100-meter relay .
In 1977 she was fifth at the World Cup in Athletics in Düsseldorf with the oceanic 4 x 100 meter relay and won bronze over 100 m at the Pacific Conference Games.
At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 , she was fourth with the New Zealand 4 x 100 meter relay. Over 100 m she was eliminated in the preliminary run, and over 200 m she reached the semi-finals.
In 1981 she was at the Athletics World Cup in Rome again with the oceanic 4-by-100-meter relay fifth.
She was New Zealand champion over 100 m four times (1971, 1973, 1974, 1981) and twice over 200 m (1973, 1981).
