Life
Wendy Carrillo fled El Salvador as a child . She first studied communication sciences at California State University, Los Angeles and graduated with a bachelor's degree . She studied for her Masters in Journalism and Political Science at the University of Southern California .
She spent twelve years as a television journalist and served on the staff of a Los Angeles councilor.
In December 2017, she was elected to the California State Assembly. There they took over the mandate of the Congress exchanged Jimmy Gomez .
