Wendy Finerman

Wendy J. Finerman (born August 2, 1960 in California ) is an American film producer .

Life

After graduating from Wharton School , a faculty at the University of Pennsylvania , in 1982, Wendy Finerman began her career in the film business with a local television station in New York City . She then moved to Steve Tisch Productions in 1985 , where she produced her first feature film with the comedy Hot on the Trot . Three years later she founded her own film production company with Wendy Finerman Productions . After reading the novel in 1985, Paramount Pictures gave her the green light in 1993 to produce Forrest Gump . For this she was nominated the 1995 British Academy Film Awards as Best Film and was an award of the Oscars for Best Picture its most significant award accept her film career.
