Werner Buss

Werner Buß (born January 10, 1945 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German politician. From 1994 to 2008 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . He is married and has one child.

education and profession

After graduating from secondary school , Buß trained as a seaman. In 1965 he took up a job with the police in Lower Saxony and was head of the water police at the Hildesheim station from 1994 until his election to the state parliament.

politics

Buß has been a member of the SPD since 1973 . From 1974 to 1996 he was councilor of the Giesen community , from 1975 to 1994 chairman of the local SPD parliamentary group. Between 1977 and 2005 he was also a member of the district council in the Hildesheim district and from 1991 deputy district administrator. From 1994 to 2008 he was represented for the SPD in the Lower Saxony state parliament. Buß is also a member of the police and workers' welfare union .
