Werner Härdtle

Werner Härdtle (* 1957 ) is a German biologist and professor of landscape ecology and nature conservation at the University of Lüneburg .

Life

Werner Härdtle studied biology in Kiel and Göttingen from 1978 to 1984 and graduated as a biologist. He then studied soil science in Kiel until 1990 and at the same time did his doctorate at the Institute of Botany. In 1995 he completed his habilitation in Lüneburg and has since worked as a substitute professor in Osnabrück and Kiel.

Research and Teaching

Härdtle is a specialist in vegetation science on heather locations ( Lüneburg Heath ) and is involved in the Klimzug Nord project . He teaches in environmental science courses.
