Werner Hartmann (local history researcher)
Werner Hartmann (born March 5, 1923 in Bad Bibra ) is a German vocational school teacher, homeland researcher, local chronicle and honorary citizen of Halberstadt .
Life
The vocational school teacher Hartmann was a long-time advisor to the Kulturbund der DDR and URANIA. He became known through his research on the city of Halberstadt, where he has lived since 1926, and his private collection of regional history with tens of thousands of photos, slides, etc.
