Joseph Chavée
Joseph Marie Chavée (born March 12, 1884 in Leuze-Longchamps , † March 26, 1957 in Brussels ) was a Belgian racing driver .
Career
Together with his compatriot André Pisart, Joseph Chavée was the first Belgian to achieve a class victory in the Le Mans 24-hour race . The duo finished fourth overall in 1924 and won the classification for vehicles between 1.5 and 2 liter displacement. He had another racing assignment in 1924 at the 24-hour race of Spa-Francorchamps , where he was overall seventh with partner Robert Glaszmann for Chenard & Walcker .
