Werner Heinz (born September 18, 1950 in Seffern ) is a German sports manager.

The trained waiter Heinz, who later also worked as a car salesman, is the owner of the "WH Sport International" agency founded in 1981. The origins of this sports marketing agency lay in the own racing driver activity of Werner Heinz, who was active in the Renault R5 Cup and there initially acquired his own sponsors. In the following years Ford entrusted him with the marketing of his junior racing teams. He then worked in this area for Audi and Mercedes. He then gained nationwide fame in the 1990s as manager Henry Maskes . Heinz's other clients were Frank Biela , Bernd Schneider , Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve , for whom he was exclusively responsible for marketing in Germany. His marketing rights also extended to the Germany-wide activities of the Williams Formula 1 racing team, parts of the German basketball league and the Oppenheimer Union race in Cologne. He has been looking after Formula 1 racing driver Nico Rosberg since 2010 .
