Werner Jacobi (politician, 1922)

Werner Jacobi (* 8. November 1922 in Geestemünde ; † 1. February 2012 ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Life and politics

Werner Jacobi was a self-employed retail salesman in Bremerhaven . He was politically involved in the CDU in Bremerhaven. On October 31, 1965, he was elected district chairman of the Bremerhaven CDU and four days later also moved into the city's magistrate , where he was responsible for the city cleaning office. He was a member of the magistrate until 1971. Afterwards he was a member of the city council of the Seestadt until 1983. He remained district chairman until 1972. In the state elections in 1967 he was elected to the Bremen citizenship , but resigned the mandate on November 1st in order to concentrate on the work in the magistrate.
