Werner Keuffel

Werner Keuffel (* around 1820 in Worbis ; † May 1869 in Querfurt ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

After attending grammar school in Schulpforta from 1836, Keuffel studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 1840 . In 1843 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. He was district judge and later district judge Querfurt.

From 1863 to 1869 Keuffel sat in the Prussian House of Representatives as a member of the constituency of Merseburg 7 (Querfurt, Merseburg) . He belonged to the faction of the German Progressive Party .
