Werner Konitzer

Werner Konitzer (* 1955 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

He studied German and journalism in Berlin , where he received his doctorate in linguistics and philosophy on the relationship between phenomenology , photography and film in 1993 . He taught philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin and completed his habilitation in Frankfurt (Oder) on media philosophy . From 2000 to 2006 he was a research assistant at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research with the project history and ethics. On the ethical implications of the discussions about the Nazi past in Germany , which was carried out in close cooperation with Raphael Gross and Christian Strub . In 2007 he was a research assistant at the Jewish Museum in preparation for the exhibition on the Frankfurt School . Since 2007 he has been deputy director and research assistant at the Fritz Bauer Institute with a focus on National Socialism and morality. In June 2011 Viadrina was appointed adjunct professor at the European University . Since May 2015 he has been acting head of the Fritz Bauer Institute in Frankfurt am Main .
