Werner Kubny

Werner Kubny (* 1949 in Olpe ) is a German author , director , cameraman , producer and screenwriter .

Life

After school he trained as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant . This was followed by studying photography, film, educational science and art history at the Folkwang School and the University of Essen. In 1978, he set up as a freelance filmmaker, director and producer. In 2007 he founded his own documentary film school.

  • 1983: SPONSOR PRIZE of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for young artists - for film and camera work.
