Werner Mitzscherling

Werner Mitzscherling (born May 14, 1930 ) is a former German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was chairman of the Dresden district board of the DBD.

Life

Mitzscherling worked as an agricultural assistant, qualified as a state-certified farmer and a certified farmer. In 1949 he became a member of the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DBD). From 1954 he was department head in the DBD district board in Dresden, from 1958 to 1963 and from 1971 to 1989 a member of the district assembly . From 1960 to 1963 he worked as deputy chairman of the Dresden District Council for Agriculture and Forestry and then as a member of the DBD party executive.

After Wilhelm Schröder's death , he was acting chairman of the DBD in 1968/1969 and then from 1969 to 1989 chairman of the Dresden district board. He was a member of the district committee of the National Front of the GDR.

From 1972 to 1989 Mitzscherling was also a member of the party executive committee of the DBD and from 1987 to 1989 also of the presidium of the party executive committee of the DBD.
