Fritz Petersohn

Fritz Petersohn (* 1910 ; † unknown) was a German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was regional chairman of the DBD Saxony .

Life

The farmer Petersohn became a member of the Association of Mutual Peasant Aid after 1945 and of the SED in 1946 . In 1948 he founded the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DBD) in the Grossenhain district on behalf of the SED and became its first district chairman. In 1951 he replaced Friedrich Martin as the Saxon state chairman of the DBD. After the dissolution of the federal states in 1952, he became district chairman of the DBD Dresden . In 1953 he resigned from this post due to illness.

From 1950 to 1952 Petersohn was a member of the Saxon state parliament .
